Get tired of your dog wrapping the leash around its legs or yours?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, then you need to know more about the supercollar®, the world's first patented dog collar with a built-in retractable leash.
The supercollar® is an innovative, collar and leash "hybrid" that replaces the traditional separate collar and leash. Developed with an emergency veterinarian and an award-winning design engineering firm, supercollar® is a unique alternative to every other leash and collar system on the market. The built-in retractable leash allows you to gain immediate control of your dog, instead of having to take the time to attach a leash.
Some refer to the supercollar® as the "sport utility" collar that allows you to eliminate the use of the traditional leash. When you need to control your dog, simply release the safety lock on the collar and pull out the retractable 36-inch leash. If you like using other leashes, you can still do so, as the supercollar® includes a "D" ring for attachment.
The supercollar® is designed to be strong, durable, and waterproof. The collar is made of sturdy polypro webbing and features two specialized retractors containing high-tech coated steel cables. Although the cables may look delicate, they have over 100 pounds of break strength EACH!
The collar features 3M Scotchlite reflective accents for pet and customer safety and is available in sizes:
small (10"-15") 10-35lbs
medium (13"-17") 30-60lbs
large (16"-22") 50-80 lbs.
The is now available for dogs weighing between 10 and 35 lbs. This supercollar® is assembled with different materials, intended to minimize the weight and profile for small breeds. There are no reflective accents, and all stainless steel has been replaced with high-strength plastic parts. Both 36-inch lines are braided Spectra (often used in deep-sea fishing), offering the same massive break-strength at a fraction of the weight.
