Here at Nutra-9 we are always on the look out for new products whether a treat or toy we will look at it. Before we decide to bring something in, we have to learn about the product. What is it made from, where does it come from? As dog owners we have to truly trust the product and give it to our own dogs or believe 100% that we would give it to our bullies! As an example we contacted a new company that we thought had an incredible product. I ask my normal questions and got to the big one that is where is it made? I was told China, now I know a lot of people are scared of products from over seas and rightfully so - heck I am! But there are a few responsible companies that bring in 3rd party testing companies to make sure the product is SAFE! Any way with being told China my next question was - I know you say the product is FDA approved (to me really meaning nothing) but do you have it tested? Answer: well I think they test it there. Wait...What??? How can you have the facility that makes it test it? There is a conflict here. So I thank the young lady for her time and info and hang up. Now I am sitting there thinking of her answers and saying to myself - I don't think I would give this product to my pups.. I can't. The next morning I send off an email asking the woman I talked to if I could get a test analysis to make sure it is safe and there are no toxins slipping in. This is not a big question to ask I have done it for Kong wubbas and they had no problem! But the email I received back surprised me and I quote

"We are not going to be issuing any data sheets regarding the material.  Every package has the FDA approved stamp on it."

not even signed - I really must have struck a nerve? But this is what I do to products. So this product as great as it sounded will not see our store! If you have a product you want me to look at suggest it here!
