Based on the preparation instructions, you are advised to add 1 part Raw Dehydrated Food with 1 part water. Although the volume of Raw Dehydrated Food and the volume of water for rehydration is the same, the density of water is double that of the food. Therefore 2 lbs of Raw Dehydrated Food is rehydrated by 4 lbs of water by weight when added at a volume ratio of 1:1, and this thus gives you 6 lbs of fresh food.

Preparation

 

Add 1 part of dehydrated raw food with 1 part of warm water. Add less water if a thicker consistency is desired, and stir well before serving. You need not wait for all the water to be absorbed. Once rehydrated, consume within 4 hours.

If your dog prefers, you may feed Addiction raw dehydrated food dry.
